Biography

I joined the chemistry department at the start of the Fall 2009 semester as the general chemistry lab manager.  During this time my duties included teaching the CHM 31 & 41 labs while also ensuring all of the general chemistry labs ran smoothly.  In January 2013 I changed roles, becoming a teaching faculty member and Director of Freshman Chemistry.  Starting in Fall 2024 I became the department’s associate chair.  In addition to my departmental responsibilities, I also serve as a nonmajor advisor to incoming first year students.
