We develop scanning probe microscopy and laser spectroscopy for chemical measurement and imaging at the nanometer scale. We study light-matter interactions at the nanoscale, revealing the compositional, organization and functions of macromolecules and nanomaterials. We are interested in the infrared responses and the electrical properties.
