Biography

Mengdong was born in Zibo, Shandong, China. He received his BS degree in Chemistry from Shandong Normal University in 2016. In the same year, he started studying the chemistry and physics of polymers under the supervision of Prof. Shengyu Feng at Shandong University and obtained his PhD degree in 2021. In his PhD studies, he focused on preparation and properties of novel sulfone-containing polysiloxanes. After two-year working in a silicone materials company, he joined Dr. Junpeng Wang lab as a postdoc to pursue his academic interest in hybrid silicone and recyclable materials.
