Biography

Professor Cronk earned her Ph.D. in Material Chemistry from Binghamton University. While there, she worked in Prof. Chuan-Jian Zhong’s group synthesizing nanoalloys to be used as fuel cell catalysts. As a graduate student, Prof. Cronk realized how much she enjoyed teaching and decided to pursue a career in it. She joined Lehigh’s Department of Chemistry in January 2021 and is primarily focused on General Chemistry. She is also a nonmajor academic advisor for incoming students in the College of Arts and Sciences.
