There are many different types of Molecular Spectroscopy.  Lehigh's Chemistry Department has instrumentation for nearly all.

The Horiba Fluorolog Fluorometer is equipped with multiple accessories that allow for Steady-State or Lifetime measurements using UV, Visible or NIR light.  This is a powerful instrument that is useful to any type of Experimental Chemist.

The Agilent Cary 7000 UV-Vis-NIR Spectrophotometer is a state-of-the-art instrument that provides Absorbance, Transmittance and Reflectance measurements for liquids, films and solids.

The Department has a Thermo Nicolet iS10 FT-IR spectrometer for easy measurements in the NIR wavelength range.

For investigating the secondary structure of proteins under different conditions, the Department has a Jasco J-815 CD Spectrometer.
