The Chemistry Department has a Bruker D8-Quest Single Crystal X-ray Diffractometer, allowing researchers to obtain atomic resolution structures in a timely manner. Within one day or less, researchers can collect diffraction data and refine the corresponding atomic structure.

Also available to researchers is an ALV/CG3 Dynamic/Static Light Scatterer which provides a distribution of particle size in solution.
