Daniel Prendergast earned a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Brown University and a M.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from MIT. His Ph.D. research focused on analytical chemistry techniques and hydrodynamic modeling to study the fate, transport, and sources of anthropogenic organic contaminants in natural waters and sediment. Daniel has experience teaching lab-based environmental engineering/chemistry courses for graduate and undergraduate students at MIT and Harvard University, and general chemistry for first-year students at UC Davis. He is excited to bring his environmental perspective and active learning background to introductory chemistry at Lehigh!
