The Chen Research Group has recently finished synthesizing and characterizing their first series of molecular biradicaloids by using an aromatic carbenoid CH insertion strategy pioneered by graduate student Caleb Wehrmann. Keep an eye out for this publication coming soon. In May 2017, the group also had two recent graduates: Kayla Jang (B.S. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry) and Michael Kerner (Master of Science in Chemistry).
